How to Become a Stage Hypnotist

How to Hypnotize Review

I want to tell you about the ebook called How to Hypnotize written by Steven Hall. The sales letter starts with the usual hype: you have failed before but now you have found the real deal. So is it the hype or is it the real deal? Let’s see.

Actually this ebook tells you about how to become a stage hypnotists if that is the field you are interested in. It has some basic principles that can be applied in therapy hypnosis as well but mainly it is centered on an entertainment aspect of hypnosis. It is, in fact, a very good field to enter, it is not oversaturated (not yet), it can be implemented on a part-time basis and of course it can be used to give awesome parties even if you are not interested in monetary aspect of this.

So now that we made this clear this book is a very decent product, well-written. The instructions are clear and simple to follow but not oversimplified. Steven Hall uses a persuasive and clear style and he also explains reasons for doing things.

Another good thing about the ebook is that he gives some actual scripts that you can adapt to your own show with minimal changes. He gives good description of what the typical séance of stage hypnosis will look like, what kind of preparation involved, some examples of rapid induction, useful tips to start this activity as a business and more.

The good way to start using information in this ebook is practice on your friends first and then move to private parties and then to your own shows.

The book deals exclusively with hypnosis under controlled environment: your subjects will know that they are going to be hypnotized, as opposed to conversational hypnosis where you influence the subjects without their knowing.

To find out about a great product on the latter, check my review of Conversational Hypnosis!

Steven also admits in the book that you have to test your subjects before starting your hypnosis sessions. Some people are just not responsive and some groups of people you should not even attempt to hypnotize and he gives a good reason why.

Also Steven is a stage hypnotist himself so he speaks from personal experience.

The main product comes with a bundle of bonuses that are all related to hypnosis.

The book does not reveal any great secret or some earth-shattering information. It gives a great introduction into stage hypnosis and the entertainment aspect of this field.

The only thing that this book does not go into great detail is the principles of hypnosis in general, it does explain a dangerous side of hypnosis and debunks the myth that “you can’t do anything against your will while you are in hypnosis”. So this kind of insights and nuggets of information are gold.

There are not many books written on this subject. To find out more on how to hypnotize
